Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge; it is a fundamental facility through which people make sense of the world and it also plays a key role in the learning process.
A basic training for imagination is listening to storytelling (narrative), in which the exactness of the chosen words is the fundamental factor to "evoke worlds."

B166-ER is a statement that the creative faculty is a free and sovereign people that should not ever be allowed to become the property of the consumerist state. But should where ever beneficial to the greater good, be invited to and fairly compensated, according to each individual's need, to work in cooperative collaboration with individuals and organizations seeking to improve the living conditions of communities by employing the prudent and practical use of the skills and talents of the people that comprise this union. And that the people of the imagINe Nation should defend the space and standards of the communication arts and sciences from the corrupting and environmentally harmful abuses of disposable and poisonous marketing assets.

The notion that living souls are often compelled to embrace habits they do not understand. Habits that may give them identity and others perceptions of the person they are.
It also addresses the idea that we all function as part of a greater machine or life force. And, that on occasion we may find ourselves feeling the need to destroy that which attempts to destroy us. Even when it is made unlawful to defend that portion of ourselves. We are spirits in a machine.
B166-er is a study in photo manipulation and illustration.
A composite design, comprised of many photographs.
The central figure is a hand drawn, scanned, digitized and computer processed image of a Yantra the Sanskrit word for "instrument" or "machine". Much like the word "instrument" itself, it can stand for symbols, processes, automata, machinery or anything that has structure and organization, depending on context.
The Yantra is laid over a digitally photographed image of a CPU micro-processor chip. Another machine. This very small machine accepts and executes many instructions of a greater network of machines.
This is surrounded by the image of a Maṇḍala. This image is again composite of many other computer generated images, drawings and photographs of colored grains of sand.
Like the Mandala itself, the image and the imagined is assembled and destroyed countless times in countless places. The imagination is a form of energy that cannot be destroyed without destroying all of those that imagine and articulate what they imagine. But like all things the imagination has not always been harnessed and exploited for the greater good.
And with this in mind and spirit we have built the Imagined Nation to honor and protect it's value and to serve those that are gifted with the duty of carrying it in their souls.
